Meeting Information

Council meetings for the City Council are held at the CPN Community Center (7404 Yorkshire Drive), when available, and the HOA #1 Clubhouse, 7233 Tenby Way, across from Buffalo Ridge Elementary School.

Council meetings begin at 7 p.m., with time allowed at the beginning of each meeting for public input. A study session is held before each council meeting beginning at 6 p.m. While public input is not permitted at the study session, meetings are open to the public.

Council Meeting: January 10, 2012

City Council approved the following documents at the January 10, 2012 regular meeting:

Resolution #12-01 "DESIGNATING A LOCATION FOR THE POSTING OF PUBLIC NOTICES";
Resolution #12-02 "APPROVING THE CITY COUNCIL 2012 MEETING SCHEDULE";
Resolution #12-03 "DESIGNATING AUTHORIZED SIGNATORIES ON THE CITY'S BANK ACCOUNT".

By separate motion:

Council approved the appointment of Council members to various Committees of Council; and
Council appointed Marc Towne to serve as Mayor Pro-Tem; and
Council approved initiating the applicable process to formally withdraw the Application for Dissolution dated January 26, 2010 and directed staff to schedule public hearings to be held at 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM at the City Council's regular meeting of Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at which public hearings the City Council will proceed to consider the formal withdrawal of the Application for Dissolution previously filed with the District; and
Council approved initiating the process to formally alter, amend or repeal Sections 21(d) and Section 21(e) of Ordinance #11-10 and directed City Staff to schedule publich hearings to be held at 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM at the City Council's regular meeting of Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at chich time the City Council will consider the alteration, amendment or repeal of Sections 21(d) and 21(e) of the Ordinance.
