Dec. 12, 2008 — Mayor Maureen Shul of the City of Castle Pines North will be at the Safeway Starbucks from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 16, for the monthly "Meet the Mayor" event.

The informal event gives Castle Pines North citizens an opportunity to come and ask questions, offer comments and share their ideas about the City of Castle Pines North. The Mayor can also outline some of the key milestones achieved since the City was officially incorporated in February.

The "Meet the Mayor" event provides another forum for citizens to share their views, especially if they are unable to attend a regularly scheduled session of the City Council. All City Council meetings are open to the public, with meeting dates, times and topics published at www.castlepinesgov.com. The next City Council meeting is Jan. 7, 2009.

The Safeway Starbucks is located at 560 Castle Pines Parkway, Castle Pines North.
