To all Ward 1 residents:

T-Mobile has requested that the City Council amend its current open space plan and allow for cell towers in open space. The first proposed location for a cell phone tower/pole is located at the corner of Daniels Gate Road and Monarch Boulevard, where there is currently a small shed.

Cell towers in open space is a very important topic to our community. At next Tuesday's Ward 1 monthly meeting, starting at 6 p.m. at the Daniels Gate pool (6450 Daniels Gate Road), your Ward 1 City Council members will be asking for your input and thoughts on this matter. We would like to hear from as many residents as possible, so if you cannot attend the meeting, please write us at our city e-mail addresses, listed below.

We have asked that a T-Mobile representative be in attendance at the meeting this coming Tuesday, Jan. 6, to answer questions residents may have on the issue. We are still waiting to hear whether they will attend.
