March 2, 2009 — Mayor Maureen Shul of the City of Castle Pines North will be at the Safeway Starbucks from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, for the periodic "Meet the Mayor" event.

The informal event gives Castle Pines North citizens an opportunity to come and ask questions, offer comments and share their ideas about the City of Castle Pines North. The Mayor can also outline some of the milestones achieved since the City was officially incorporated last year.

"Meet the Mayor" provides another forum for citizens to share their views. Citizens also are invited to attend regular City Council meetings, which will be held on the second and fourth Thursday of every month, starting with the March 12 meeting. Agendas are posted online the day before the meetings at www.castlepinesgov.com, under the "City Council" section. Councilpersons schedule regular meetings for their wards as well.

The Safeway Starbucks is located at 560 Castle Pines Parkway, Castle Pines North.
