Sign of the Pines

March 13, 2009 — Mayor Maureen Shul and other Castle Pines North elected officials raised the first "Welcome to the City of Castle Pines North" sign today on Castle Pines Parkway, just west of I-25.

A second welcome sign was installed on Monarch Parkway, the City's north entrance road. The installation of the signs was one of the first projects for Castle Pines's new Public Works team.

"Our expectations are as high as our city elevation," says Mayor Shul, referring to the 6,469-foot level noted on the sign. "The welcome signs are a great addition to the entrances to our city."
