The City of Castle Pines North invites the public to attend a groundbreaking ceremony for the city’s newest park at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, at the Lagae development area, located behind the King Soopers shopping center on Lagae Road, just south of Castle Pines Parkway.

Mayor Maureen Shul, Castle Pines elected officials and members of the Parks Authority and Metropolitan District will be present.

Upon its completion, the 40-acre park is anticipated to include an athletic field, playground, open space and parking areas for all citizens to enjoy. Visit the city’s Web site to view a detailed map of the proposed layout.
