The Canyons public hearing will be held 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 22, at DCS Montessori School Gymnasium, 311 E. Castle Pines Parkway.

At the public hearing, City Council will consider the second reading of Ordinances 09-14, 09-15 and 09-16, which annex three parcels of land comprising The Canyons property into the city. City Council will also consider Ordinances 09-17, 09-18 and 09-19, which establish zoning of The Canyons property, legal entitlements and an annexation agreement permitted under Colorado law.

City Council approved the first reading of six ordinances on Sept. 10, a procedural step that leads into the public hearing and second reading.
