The Canyons public hearing will be held 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 22, at DCS Montessori School Gymnasium, 311 E. Castle Pines Parkway. The documents to be presented to Council are now available online for public review.

At the public hearing, City Council will consider the second reading of Ordinances 09-14, 09-15 and 09-16, which annex three parcels of land comprising The Canyons property into the city. City Council will also consider Ordinances 09-17, 09-18 and 09-19, which establish zoning of The Canyons property, legal entitlements and an annexation agreement permitted under Colorado law.

City Council approved the first reading of six ordinances on Sept. 10, a procedural step that leads into the public hearing and second reading.
