To all Castle Pines North Ward 1 citizens:

City Council is filling the vacant Ward 1 position. Letters of interest and/or résumés will be accepted until 4:30 p.m., tomorrow, Friday, March 12.

The Ward 1 Council member will carry out the remainder of the two-year term until the next regular election, which will be held in November 2011. This position is volunteer-based, and the designated Ward 1 representative will not be compensated. The City Council will make its final decision by the March 23 Council meeting.

If you are interested in applying to serve as a representative for Ward 1, please submit your letter of interest and/or résumé to Deputy City Clerk Carl Kollmar.
