To all Castle Pines North citizens:
Starting this week in preparation for winter weather, Public Works crews were planning to begin asphalt crack sealing on residential streets on Monday; but, due to this weekend’s rain, crews will need to postpone to allow the streets dry out. Public Works will start asphalt crack sealing as soon as weather permits. Residents who live on these streets will receive door hangers detailing the work schedule. Additionally, a City-wide street sweep is scheduled to follow the crack sealing; this will also be postponed until after crews have completed with asphalt crack sealing.
Public Works has completed 95% of the planned removal and replacement of concrete crosspans and curb and gutter, with the remainder of this work to be completed this week. Residents should expect partial closures with cones or barricades at the intersection of Glen Ridge Drive and Meadowrose Lane, which is the last area still under construction. Please be advised and use caution when traveling through this area.
If you have questions or would like further information, please visit the City’s website or contact Eric Guth, Public Works Director, at eric.guth@cpngov.com or 303.705.0216.
